Honda CBR 1000RR and CB1000R to launch in India

The leading two-wheeler manufacturer, Honda to launch CBR 1000RR and CB1000R in India, its two new superbikes on 27th February 27. These superbikes Honda CBR 1000RR and CB1000R will be initially sold in the four metros Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata. Honda exclusive stores will cater these superbikes exclusively to demands for these bikes.



Honda is set to expand these superbikes stores to other cities in Stage 2 and will also account for the servicing and other issues related to the bike. The expected price of Honda CBR 1000RR is around Rs. 12 lakh and Honda CB1000R might be priced at Rs. 10 lakh. Initially Honda had announced its plans to launch super bikes in India before the end of the current fiscal.

Hero Honda has launched an another stunning bike, Glamour PGM FI in 125cc segment. Glamour PGM FI is aimed to target the Indian youth with its performance and style. Glamour PGM FI is equipped with a PGM-FI (Programmed Electronic Fuel Injection) system which monitors the engine's operating condition which results improved fuel efficiency, better emission performance and excellent drivability. Glamour PGM FI has a Quantum core engine and a flush-type lock on the fuel tank which makes it a first bike of its kind in its segment. The Quantum core engine of Glamour PGM FI is developed by the Japanese partner Honda's reasearch & development team. Glamour PGM FI is launched by Hero Honda to attract the bikers who like better performance with a better fuel efficiency.

Hero Honda Glamour PGM FI has a 124.8cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, OHC engine with a 4 speed gearbox which generates 9bhp power at 7000rpm and 10.35Nm torque at 4000rpm. Its 125cc power plant enables great accelaration to touch the mark of 60 Kmph in just 6.7 seconds, and make it able to break the barrier of 100 Kmph. Glamour PGM FI has a 18" alloy wheels, new fairing design and larger fuel tank adds the sporty look to this bike.
